Building the first transcontinental networking academy for African & European digital innovation hubs.
From 2021-2024, in partnership with the African Technology Business Network (ATBN), Stav & Eunice empowered European and African Digital Innovation Hubs (DIHs) through capacity building and strategic networking. As part of the AfriConEU, we united a consortium of 11 organisations across Africa and Europe, spanning diverse sectors – tech, academia, social enterprises, nonprofits, and policy.

Leading Impact and Evaluating Strategy for the JDC International Development and Disaster Response Unit
From 2021 to 2023, Co-Catalyst collaborated with the JDC to evaluate and strategize for their international development and disaster response initiatives. This partnership encompassed key projects across three regions: India - Evaluating the outcomes of JDC’s COVID-19 telemedicine project in under-resourced hospitals; Ethiopia - Strengthening TOV program mission to integrate innovative Israeli agricultural technology to improve productivity and sustainability in farming; South Africa- Supporting the Imagine More program, which focuses on women’s economic empowerment through sustainable business models, specifically honey production.

Training Social Entrepreneurs to Develop Sustainable Enterprises
From 2017 to 2019, Co-Catalyst partnered with Exeter City Futures, an initiative focused on supporting entrepreneurs in developing sustainable solutions to the city's challenges. These challenges included traffic congestion, sustainable energy needs, and promoting active transportation. Through the Exeter Velocities accelerator program, Co-Catalyst provided expertise in impact evaluation to help entrepreneurs develop comprehensive impact strategies.

In 2023, the Primary Emotional Support initiative, a groundbreaking Israeli program was created. This intervention aimed to make mental health resources accessible to the Israeli public, with a specific focus on volunteer communities, encompassing everyone from students to the elderly. The approach involved deploying various therapeutic professionals to public spaces, ensuring maximum visibility and engagement within communities.

Empowering Women-Led Startups through Impact Strategy
DANA is an Abu Dhabi-based venture builder and investment platform that supports women-led startups in desert technologies, focusing on sectors such as agritech, food tech, water solutions, and renewable energy. The platform aims to address pressing challenges in desertification while empowering women entrepreneurs across the MENA region. To maximize its impact, Co-Catalyst worked with DANA to develop a comprehensive impact strategy that integrated sustainability, gender equity, and regional development.

Since 2022, Co-Catalyst has been advising BONO, a platform dedicated to leveraging technology for social good. Our partnership provided end-to-end impact services, from analyzing the US philanthropy landscape to equipping the BONO team with the skills and knowledge to become impact leaders. We also guided the startup in developing its impact strategy and connected it to key impact investors.

Coalition for Digital Equality (CODE): Building a More Equal and Prosperous African Digital Future
The Coalition for Digital Equality (CODE), established in 2020, is a network connecting local and global stakeholders to bridge the digital gender divide and promote sustainable economic growth across Africa. Operating initially in Uganda and Ghana, CODE brings together innovation hubs, digital skills initiatives, SMBs, impact investors, and policymakers with UK academic and industry partners to identify the key drivers of the digital gender divide in Africa, and to collaboratively develop solutions to address it. The project was implemented by a multidisciplinary team of academics and practitioners from the University of Leicester, Makerere University Business School (MUBS), University of Ghana (UG), Africa Technology Business Network (ATBN) and Gender and Policy Insights (GenPol), and was funded by UK Research and Innovation.

Catalysing the Impact Investment Ecosystem in Israel
Since 2020, Co-Catalyst has been working with The Israeli Forum for Impact Economy (IFIE), the Israel National Advisory Board (NAB) to the Global Steering Group (GSG), to advance Israel’s impact investment ecosystem. IFIE is a multi-sectoral initiative composed of leaders committed to driving economic growth through the development of an impact-driven economy, one that delivers solutions to global challenges while promoting sustainable economic growth.

#HerFutureAfrica: Empowering Women Through Tech Innovation
In partnership with the African Technology Business Network (ATBN) and Women in Tech Africa, Co-Catalyst team worked on #HerFutureAfrica, an initiative aimed at empowering young African women with essential skills, mentorship, and support to build tech-enabled businesses addressing the needs of women and girls. The pilot program was launched in Ghana in 2017 and implemented through 2018 with funding support from Comic Relief.
